Seiko SARL004 is a discontinued JDM model produced for only a short period. It stands out as the only high end Seiko to feature an open heart design. Powered by the 8L38A movement, this movement is only found outside in premium models such as the discontinued Credor Phoenix and Seiko Brightz SAGL, or the Marine Master line which retails north of USD $3,000. (The SARL004 originally retailed for approximately USD $2,000.) Crafted and assembled at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio, home to both Grand Seiko and Credor production, the SARL004 also features Grand Seiko's signature Zaratsu polishing with a Grand Seiko esque Case.
